If a AVP3 is made why doesnt the Alien get a larger chunk of the action, instead of the old smash kill eat repeat scenario.
As Alienslof has shown Aliens have sentinent and can communicate with a hive mind.
So if spend so much time on a marine plot then why cant they do the same with the alien?

i agree, but how the f*ck could they do it? and why? we might think they are intelligent, but the majority of people see them as mindless insects controlled by a stupid but powerful puppetmaster who bases its life on instinct and nothing else. also, i think the alien might have been included as sort of a relief thing, where basically the point was KILL KILL KILL!!!!! and enjoy the pointless mayhem. kinda like in UT or Rage Wars. but a better example would be serious sam.

Simple--if the aliens were protrayed as thinking [hive mind, or similar] they would be INVINCIBLE, and as such any game/movie, etc would have to end with the other 2 species loosing.

Erm, I hate to rain on anyone's parade but the biggest reason the aliens get killed is their anti-gun legislation. I mean, if the alien powers-that-be let the drones carry a good carbine in their little claws they would be unstoppable. As it is: "But Queenie! Isnt the Alien a weapon, a biological weapon, in other words a virus!
And isnt a viruses basic job just to recreate and overcome the enemy threat to survive.
So couldnt the Alien become super intellgent sentinent beasts that evolved that way to overcome the human threat, the humans will just have to advance more to fight back.

In the game, the alien is only as smart as the people controlling them .

Okay here's two ways that they should make for an alien.
#1 perhaps we could puke some acid on em you knowburn their punny lil @$$ and they run around screaming and bubbling. (hahaha)
#2 They should make things throwable, crates, propane tanks, O2 canistars, cars or such (hey they're super stong insects right!) or better yet when your on the ceiling You can squish em. Oh yeah one of the fix's would be stun a human with your tail OR kill them, (stunning lets you drag them back to hive for a bonus or somthing!)
That would be great yes?! as for mission lettering could appear across the top of the screen [queen] I need four new hosts for my children, or the one with the red auora must be the host for my new bodygaurd. Or lotsa stuff like that, I'd be even more fun If they made an Alien only game, with a storyline similar to DOX wouldn't that be awsome! Slof your fic WOULD make a fantastic game!

a. Aliens are not insects - read the essay on absoluteavp about that,

b. A DoX game would be fun, yes! Playing as S'liithy it could be a combnation of first-person and strategy - it could have two or three player modes - as Queenie, Harvey, etc...

If you were playing as S'liithy, it probably would go as far as you having to meet up with N'ihlanthsss, a quick cut scene showing them roaring at each other, a lot of squealing and then onto the next mission
