Are ALNS and Slof the only ones who really care about my opinion?

look man. dont take offence or anything. some of my forum threads based on accouple of my stories were almost totally ignored.
ok as far as ur new story Outcast. i read the beggining. well compared to what my first works submitted here looked like its pretty good. or alteast better then my first works were.
but here lets keep things simple. give me one strong reason on why someone would want to read ur story. then when u have that writen down go create a newsie and put that strong reason. goodluck

When I first started witing the story on paper I did it just to fill up my time frame. But now that I look at it, it's much more than "space fillers". It reflects how I feel about Aliens and Predators. To live among a hive of Xeno's was my childhood dream. When I look over this I remember what inspired me to dream. I now believe in my dream...
Writing this reflects my life.
A lonley kid who just wants someone who can really understand him. Friends are OK but someone who can know what you like without directly telling them. As I said before, my friends can sometimes annoy because they don't know when to back down and they no nothing of AvP...
Doing this is expressing my feelings for my life.
It's an "I wish it would be" life story of myself... I don't know why anyone would want to read it and I don't care. Just knowing someone is out there who read this went, "Wow, this is actually good" is enough for me.
Everyone made fun of me because I'm geeky and no one cares. Just seening my openly displayed is perfect for me, good feedback or otherwise...
Just knowing someone will eventually look at it gives me a warm feeling inside. Also that it will be read by TRUE AvP fans...
PS- I do care I care a lot! More than anyone can imagine...

Hardly any stories get commented here.
You know almost each chapter to my story, Da'tou's Story, has been read around 100 times or more, thanks to PlanetAvP, and only around five people or so has commented on it. From what I found out on other sites and all, I have readers that love my work, all are Predator stories.

That was the first comment I recieved from that person, then with another story I took off to rewrite, a reader reviewed one of my stories saying it was a good read and what happened to the story I took off, that was another who liked yet didn't comment on it.
Anyway, there are people out there who really like your stories, but most of them for some bizarre reason will not comment.
I try to keep up with the stories around here and try to comment, depending when my computer feels like working, but have been too busy lately to read or give any comments.
I've been seing this thread posted for a couple of days, something like that, and just today was able to reply because my computer wasn't on the fritz, sometimes it'll be like this for a month.
eh....no offense to GS, but Wren, I know at least one site that will give you a better chance at having your stories reviewed.

It's like I've said before, no-one uses the comments feature on GS, despite my asking Prezes to extend the character limit so people could comment in greater detail. I was asked about arranging this by several people and what happens? No-one's using it! Also, and this is aimed at Rob in particular - submit a newsie on GS for me to post up - this will generate extra interest as people browse the news page. Both BlackDawn and Alien Lord do - I can only post a newsie if you submit one!

Don't nag people into reading, it's not very becoming! They'll read it when they are ready! Just recently PAvP posted up about various stories on GS (except mine as they weren't AvP related!). Plus it works both ways - read and comment on someone else's and they might be more inclined to return the favour.

to put it rather bluntly i usually comment on stories that blow me away. either that or i usually send the person a PM to send them some feedback.

I commented on DoX I and II via PM.
I recently read Preadatory instinct and I love it . I got hooked ont it and really enjoy rereading it.
Actually I have to thank you Slof for inspiration through the ages. Most of my ideas have been slight cut offs from your ideas. IE- the Blaine dooming human race thing. I found the solution .
Being a fanatic of drastic proportions, I recently wrote a very unnerving story...
Alien -v- Predator -v- T-Virus Zombie -v- Werewolf and might post it up

You know Robbo, PI was indeed great work from Slof, i have talked with people in online battles (AvP of course) in between bouts of killing, and most of them know of sloffy and her work, but io was shocked that most had actully READ PI, its a great peice of work.

Now what else was i gunna say... oh yeh, just because no one comments on your fictions doesn't mean they arn't respected or looked upon highly. Since being back for a very short time, i checked the newsies, and found your fic, amongst others from my Youngling, Sloffy and ALNS, But i read outcast and i liked it, few typos here and there and some scene skipping, but good work Robbo. Keep it up.

when u read this just stop everything ur doing. relax. take a deep breath and just relax. now as u are relaxed. look at all the things that get u stressed out. look at how big of a deal they really are and then just look at them and say
" im not going to let u get me stressed out"
i dont know it kinda worked for me rob. so good luck if u try it.
