I liked these games:
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Devil May Cry, Dark Cloud, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy X. Haven't played Final Fantasy X 2 just yet but I know it's gonna be good.

And if I may add, being it is based on a video game, I can't wait to see Final Fantasy: Advent Children! I know it's going to be good! Woo-hoo! Anyway, back to the subject....

The best game out of all the games I have played:
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

This game to me kick some major ass, though the animation was childish, it still held great potentional, I liked the idea that you could go just about anywhere and do almost anything. I also took my time with it and got everything finished, at least I think I did, because I had a strategy guide.

I would have to say it's a very close tie between Super Metroid and Metroid: Zero Mission. Metroid Zero Mission is probably just a lit bit better.

Best games played: Avp2, Generals and ZeroHour.
Best games i want to play are Halo2, Avp3, Doom3.

all that, and the proverbial bag of chips - final fantasy VII. True, it's a little dated, but it's still one of the best RPGs around ^^

In my opinion I would say that FFX is better than FFVII.I didn't like FFX-2 very much. Then again that's just my opinion. I can't wait for FFXI to come out.

Space Hulk: Vengeance Of The Blood Angels - [u]96%[/u] (ace tactical shooter with the best AI ever, looks like a Doom clone at first but is infact a Doom beater... and completely different)

Aliens vs Predator (PC, not Jaguar) - [u]92%[/u] (scariest... game... ever. Pretty damn dated these days though)

South Park - The Game - [u]8%[/u] (show remains amazing. But worst... game... ever)

Delta Force 2 - [u]90%[/u] (and Land Warrior when it came out)

Max Payne 2 - [u]96%[/u] (short, but think of it as a long, playable movie rather than a short game. Then you will see your money was well spent)

Far Cry (only just got it today, but if it stays this good then 93-4%)

Hard to pick a "best", but it'd be a toss-up between the three 96% games.

i think one of the sleeper hits of the year could be Best Game material. the game is "Mafia", and i just beat it on computer, its one cool game, totally immersive.

and Alpha Centauri is pretty good also even if it is old

I have played Morrowind now for a while and i think its safe to say its very cool!!
