As of now there is no map editor for halo2 open to the public. Rest assured however that bungie will constantly be giving new maps to download and play.

With all due respect. DUH there is no editer and probably won't ever be. Oh and how many posts do I need to rank up?

I guess Bungie wants to keep control of the genre. HOwever, hoepfuly, they will release maps on a regular basis.

actually... I will have you know that there was a very good chance that there would be a level editer. OXM reported that bungie was working on creating a level editer for xbox. Using the new xbox live features any user made maps could be saved automatically, different versions would not infringe upon eachother.

Apparantly do to time constraints and other things xbox live does not have that feature for halo2. Whether that is xbox live's fault or bungies is irrelevant. There is still the possibility that we will have a level editer.

I hope there isn't one, cause thered be so much to create and add onto a piece of land. Itd take a long time for one map and you couldn't use it on live cause everybody else might not have made that map. All in all its just too much work.

So the first thing to ask for in the upcoming HALO 3 is the map editing tools
