how would we do this?

With the way laws are changing, how could anyone control whats put on the servers???

Music, movies? and the Police will be braking down my door to arrest me with in days.

Viruses? Same again...

Our servers would be wide open to all forms of attack from anyone.... The datacentre would not be happy with that.

There is a witch hunt going on in the UK for pedo****, so what if some one uploads some "questionable stuff" up??? I'll never see the light of day again.

Thats just the extream side, but the main one is costs.....

I'm paying for all these sites as it is. With home to expand into more areas, like a few files, and our current bandwidth usage, I could not afford to vastly increase the usage.

It is a sad fact for anything on the internet now, there is no money in adverstising. I'm not being greedy and try to make millions (that would be nice, do get me wrong), but the ads we have now don't come anywhere near covering the costs of these sites (thanks to ad blockers and things).

So, unfortunatley, for now that idea will need to remain a dream.....

Unfortunately, these days, with the Web being at the forefront of all anti-something activities, all Web users have to be treated as "guilty until proven otherwise", which, of course limits the range of services that COULD be offered.

I've spent a year wracking my brains for a unique gimick that would make us stand out from the other networks, and thus bring in some money to fund user-related perks, but for now...the only I do have is...make money elsewhere....
