well aliens vs predator gold is still available do u recomend that i spend some money to buy it or do u think that would be a waste of money.

Absolutely--get it and see the DIFFERENT aliens than those shown in AvP2 [nopt types, but behaviour, exploding, etc]. try out the original dual pistol setup, jetpack, etc...
Its a supercool game
