This is chapter number four of my current book.
Here are 2 tasters: this is the first one.
"He popped out of his turret and sat on the edge while he pulled out a smoke. Again he heard a thud and then a cloak being deactivated. It was Ke'sar'di. A minute later a second thud, this time it was Na'rik-de. They sat down next to Highway as he took some puffs of his cigarette. The strain and wear was showing on Highway. He knows it, and he knows the Yautjas can see it."
----BUT don't worry all you action monger out there---------------
"F**K!! F**K MY F**KING LEG!!" one injured soldier screamed, as he lay pinned down in the middle of an open area with dozens of bullets and laser shots whizzing over his body. Blood was gushing profusely from his leg just above the joint. The soldier looked around him; eight other soldiers were all dead. His squad tried to counter-attack after throwing smoke. However, the enemy fire was too rapid and cut the squad down to size."
