This is a basic overveiw of the pilotable human vehicles in HALO. They are dotted all over HALO and for any experianced pilot can assist you alot. Trust the advice of a veteran fol
The Warthog is a human jeep used in HALO. It can hold up to three people. 1 driver (you or another spartan) 1 side passenger who can shoot using their own weapons, and 1 gunner who runs the minigun turret that is on the back of the warthog. The minigun also has unlimited ammo. The warthogs minigun is very accurate and powerful. The warthog is like the hummers of some of todays armies. It has four wheel drive. Ok handling. It fishtails pretty easily and it absolutely sucks on ice. An experienced driver can be just as deadly driving the warthog as they could manning the gun. Using the fishtails to your advantage you can hit covenent and kill them. The warthog has good horsepower and ok torgue. Personally its my favorite ground vehicle and 3 out of 5 times i will choose it over a covenant banshee which can fly.
Next up Scorpian Tank. This tank absolutely kicks ass. It has a turret that holds a very inacurrate machine gun and also it holds a big ass cannon. It takes four seconds to reload the cannon but its worth it everytime. The shell moves like it has a purpose. Its fast and pretty accurate. And the explosion from it, Oooohhhh there is nothing more satisfying to me then launching various covenant hundreds of feet into the air as they scream. The explosion is absolutely kick. If you have good aim and alittle luck you can blow up covenant mortar tanks with one shot from the cannon on any difficulty setting.
This tank doesnt move all that fast compared to the other vehicles on HALO but it doesnt have to. Most of the time when other vehicles hit the tank they just bounce off of it or fly through the air. Occasionally the tank will be moved if you hit it just right with a warthog. The scorpian has four tread sections. 2 on each side. On top of each tread section is a place were marines or other spartans can "sit" and shoot. This is dangerous becuase enemy fire will have a greater chance of hitting your passengers though. Also tank is extremely useful for a sheild. If you get out and then go behind it you can shoot or you can go right beside the turret and shoot from there. Over all the Scorpian is a great vehicle to leave everything in flames and reckage. Anybody stupid anough to mess with an experianced pilot will end up flying through the air already dead and cooling off.
