Weapon strategies: Human: Part 2

This covers the shotgun and the rocket launcher.

Shot gun. Your new best friend This is one of my favorite weapons. Very trusty and very reliable. Not good for long distance or anything but its good to soften targets up before they get to you. Personally what I do is I have a pistol with for the long range stuff. And then just blast my enemy away with my shotgun. Shot gun when used correctly can be the second deadliest weapon in the game. Heck you get lucky and get close range (i mean right next to the enemy) and you can kill almost any enemy on multiplayer. Just aim at the head and BOOM. then they fall and you get another kill. This is great for clearing out bases and supporting a rocket launcher. Shot gun can kill a vehicled enemy in three shots if your decent. This is also a good weapon for taking on groups of people. spread out the damage and atleast weaken them for your team to kill later on. This is a good all around weapon. Its great for on defense when you just hide behind some wall. suddenly an oppenent drops in to grab your flag. BAM. BAM. BAM. give or take a bam or two and your flag is back in your possesion. Rocket launcher. When you absolutely must kill everything in the room. First and formost. THIS IS NOT A NOOB WEAPON!!! This weapon takes skill to use. In the hands of an expert one man can kill an entire team with one shot. In the hands of a noob. One man can kill himself and his entire team. First strategy For newer players and bumby terrain areas. Shoot at your enemies feet. Always lead your target. The rocket is fast but it does not get to the target instantly. Shoot at your enemies feet. If nothing else you can blind him/her with a cloud of dust. If it goes well you can send your enemy into orbit. Second strategy For better players and more experienced rocket people. To hit your target in the chest or in the head. Or just generally hitting your target above the feet. always lead the target by atleast several feet. its more of a feel thing. You have to feel the perfect moment click. When something inside of you tells you to shoot at that exact time. Third strategy Going against vehicles. Going against a warthog. Coming straight at you. Easy. Shoot straight at the warthog jump to the side. Get ready to shoot again. Warthog going perpindicular from you. Try to get to a higher position. Aim a good distance infront of hog. And fire. Newer people aim for ground. More experienced people or people with alot of ammo and time can aim just above the ground and try to hit the hog its self. Going against a covenent ghost. For newer people i suggest that you shoot way infront of the ghost. even if its coming straight at you. and i mean way. becuase that thing is above the ground and you cant really tell its exact possision. so best to shoot the ground and hope to atleast send it flipping. For better rocketers (hope thats spelled right). If the ghost is coming straight at you. Shoot that mother head on. And laugh as the dead body flies over your head. If the ghost is coming perpindicular to you. Shoot way ahead and maybe shoot a tad below where you think the middle of the ghost is. do this becuase if you happen to hit the ground then you could miss. why. becuase that ghost is above the ground by about a meter or so. so aim alittle below it and way ahead and shoot. Hope this helps. Again these are just the things i do. and they tend to work for me. But again everyone has their own style. im just trying to give you some advice. Good luck and good hunting.
