Got a game I can post later. I've just now gotten some time where I can come back around here, been so busy with work I haven't even had time to work on stories, and that's with using a notebook and pen!

ALNS has his head in the right place, I just finished looking at the "Last Seen" list thing, and s**t, theres my name: 0 seconds ago. Alien Lord New Species: 2 hours, 32 minutes ago. Then... AndyUK62: 23 hours and 28 hours ago... WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE?!?!

That's why you dont see how many people are online.

We have regulars visiting, it it's always nice to see new faces.

I think a 100 milligrams of adrenaline straight into the heart with paddles charged to 300 !!!

my jobs has been taking me ever more away from the internet.

I don't even get to touch the XboX360 anymore ! (it's only 6 months old).
we have lost about third of our team so far. about 1 person every2 weeks is leaving. We can't hire a replacement (the damn french), so we shift work onto those that are still here and try work package stuff as soon as possible, but that takes months.

so when I spend 10 hours infront of a computer and chasing up people & paperwork I'm left with no energy to work on the sites

and the gamestory issue has really got me down as well (not to mentioned rather p*ssed me off )

Well boss, the only comfort i can offer you, is if it supposed to work out, in time it will, for the mean time try your hardest, thats the only thing anyone can ask of you. "Theres not to reason why, theres but to do and die."

guess what, the PC has really been trying my patience !

for a very long time it has been crashing on me... surf too many pages or one with too many axtiveX stuff and InternetExplorer crashes... browse the HDD's then explorer crashes.... then there were the VisualBasic C++ stuff that crashed and my firewall went down....

anyways, decided to bite the bullit, back up all the data (onto a seperate HDD), format the C drive and re-install windows.

installation went fine...but windows will not see my backup hdd !!!!!!

from what I can understand the file that defines the partitions... doesn't work.. to put into simply (and polite) terms.

so I have been spending the last week trying to recover my data.

my primary hdd is an 80Gb!, so there is no space for all the data. so I have to copy the data from the bad hdd, copy it onto a dvd, delete it, the copy some more...

hopefully, will be back by this weekend...

Sounds like you really having fun in your neck of the woods Prezes. Keep up the hard work, we depend on you . If there is anything i can do to help, gimme a yell.

wow, this thread is old. anyway ill get to the point. Prezes, if your looking for a new forum carrier that might be alittle cheeper you might want to try invision power boards. damn good company, the forums i run with a few others (we pay for them) have had very few problems. just thought id offer a friendly suggestion.

It's been a long long time. I'm amazed at how long ago I joined this site (back in 2003) and decided to check up. It's absolutely incredible to see how much I've changed since I joined here. I'll try and check in more to see if anything new is going on. Wish you the best of luck Prezes on fixing all your computer problems and hopefully resolving the GameStory domain issue.

As far as I see only 3 or 4 people are still posting. Then again it has been 7 years. 

Dont worry I fully expect with the new game, it is likely traffic will pick up again. Nothing compaired to the boom days, but nonetheless i expect it to pick up.

Yes, it has been very quiet!

I started my new job in July, been busy as a result (doing quite a bit of travelling now). Also been house hunting for a very long time. I think I have finally found a place, put an offer in 3 weeks ago and it has been accepted!!! So busy with all the paperwork & legal stuff that goes with it.

However, managed to code the sites again in a way that they all use the same script !!!
