As I mentioned in the Aliens 5 thread. Part of the magic of the first alien movie was being overwhelmed by the unknown, which is one of the things we fear the most. In that movie, I thought the derilict ship and the jockey were just as awesome as the xeno later turned out to be. Sadly, the ship and it's petrified pilot disappeared as the series went on. I have an idea but firts need more information on the Jockey and it's race. So, what do we know?

I too am conisidering putting the Jockeys in my story, though in a very different direction heh heh heh. However, for the sake of keeping it as accurate as I can to what's already been shown and written about them I need to know as much as I can based on movies, comics, and published novels. I can't use published novels as I've not read any of the Alien or Predator ones, although I am considering getting one or two. I'm just going for a good, interesting and entertaining story and peeps can take or leave the bits they don't want to belive, hehehehe. It's all fun anyway and gives us all something to do on a cold and rainy night.

Well what I know about the Jockeys they hate aliens because the aliens killed most of their species they have advanced weapons as seen in Earth Hive where a Jockey kills something like 40 aliens with one shot I guess their weapons where created specially to kill xenos but not to sure about that and they rules most of the galaxy before the aliens started to kill them they are also telepathic being able to read peoples mind and send there own emotions or thoughts into a persons mind.

That is correct I believe in one of the aliens comics they have a lot of info about the jockeys they even say the aliens were a cures from god or something to punish corrupt races.

Maybe I will include "Jockeys" In my avp story I might do later on in, preferably, this century, if I am not too busy in this forum trying to find out facts about; "Jockeys". What kind of a f***ed up name is that for a species? "Jockeys"? Just as bad as fucking "Trekkies"! LoL ! Anyone seen this film thingy called Trekkies? I havn't yet, looks good though

Well I am going to read 'They may be gods' now than the 12 capter of 'Diary of a Xenomorph ' but I guess people are getting borded with the aliens and marines kill each other so they want to get the jockeys in there aswell to make it more interesting.

'cause I sure as hell didn't want to receive anymore email like the ones I had. I asked DvVIII to remove my email address from the author bit and he has. But it's put me right off. I'm a sensitive soul and tend to take things to heart.
