i just got off multiplayer as a drone - some gay [CENSORED] had loaded a mod onto the comp. cafe computer i was using, and some other peoples had it to. I WAS VERSING 29 [CENSORED] SUPER SCIONS (its like a predalien only stronger, faster, smaller, tougher, etc etc...)

AND A [CENSORED] MECHANOID (alice only bigger, unhurtable to aliens and has a MINIGUN THE SIZE OF A PRAETORIAN!!!!)



Am i the only person to be crushed into a pulp by unfair players with unfair mods? please share any bad experiences so that i know im not suffering alone, and can laugh at any worse experiences than mine (is that possible?)

i had something liek this 2.. but it was more subtle... a super fast runner that hast the damage output of a queen..... nothing big... but it DODGED bullets!! rite at its head!!!! i mean cmon! i cant even do that!!! he didnt even pounce, just strafe! argh.... i feel better now

Well we all have our bad experiences on multiplayer by those f****** twats cause they need people too think "Oh look he's a good player!" or as the smart people would look on it: "Noobie... *sigh*"

But am i the only one here whos seen the SuperScions or Mechanoids? Everyone i talk to about it has never heard of them.

I've heard of strength modifications to the alien species on several customary made servers but i have never seen a "mechanoid" or "Super Scion"

if we're lucky, they were the only people with the mod, but thats 30 people with that stuff.

the name that class that comes up when you put the crosshairs on them are: super scion - something like BugKing357, Mechanoid - CustAliceMech. the other name is what it is n the class selction screen.

im not 100% on which name would be the real one.

well, one time on an evac, this one guy apeared as a civilian, and he had a exo minigun, and he was pretty fast, course the moderator banned him

hehe.... that must have been a fun thing too do! Banning is fun but its better to kick them, cause they start bitching and then you just ban them

This reminds me of another topic here somewhere about players giving their marine weapons smart gun aiming.

Btw. Why has somebody done something about this type of 'Cheating' create a patch or something that stops the players from modding anything else then the skins.

Someone should make a patch that prevents people from creating a dedicated server and adding in modifications for their own reasons... like you post a vote or something before you can put in modifications so the server will not allow you to do it if not enough people say yes...

well im stuck... i cant tell which is better, cliff's idea, or cougers... but i prefer to play fair... but with cougers everyones happy... ARGH!!! i think my heads gonna explode! but still, if i beat a guy with a mode... i own all... speaking of mod... this one marine, i had a feeling, she was too good... couldve been skill, but she could hold off 6 facehuggers, if she was facing the direction the came from... and she never missed... think it could be a mod?

That depends. possibly, but if the people playing as the facehuggers were being idiots and ran along in a straight line it would have been pretty easy... otherwise it was probably skill... overall its more likely to be skill than a mod though.

Skill or mod an interesting question. It would appear to be kind of hard to say which unless they mod the physical look. To bad there isn't a way to be sure.

well, to clarify... we only got one facehug on her... and she was the ONLY non alien in game... i got so frustrated i forgot to strafe sometimes... so, i guess it could be skill... ps she was a hyper active bunny!!!
